Bliss Spiritual Co-op has had to make many changes in order to survive through the pandemic. Following is a summary of the many ways that we have pivoted to pull through these unprecedented times. Prior to Covid, in February 2020 we hosted 168 FREE onsite classes per month, won the Jefferson Award for outstanding public service and celebrated our 7 year anniversary. This is when the pandemic hit and our retreat house closed in March. Undaunted, we expanded our support via online classes. In June we reopened with a few onsite classes while ensuring safety protocols that were duly followed. We decided to focus on three areas - Community rebuilding through onsite / online one-on-one sessions with healing and other specialty practitioners and introducing movie nights and Tuesday backyard luncheons. Collaboration beyond via expanding our programming to include other non-profits with similar aspirations worldwide. Our facilitators and participants can now reside anywhere and still contribute their talents and resources to the co-op. Fundraising through a variety of outdoor events dinners, workshops and sales to provide much needed support. Moving forward, we re-established regular business hours in September and are offering a wider variety of both onsite and online sharings. As a community we have used our experiences and expertise to continue to provide support for our community to exist and thrive.
